About this service
Transition house provides emergency shelter and crisis support, counselling, and housing, legal and parenting supports to abused francophone women and their children. Emergency shelters offer short term accommodation for women who do not have housing, or are fleeing abuse. Shelters working with women who have experienced violence or domestic abuse have access to short term interpretation services. Clients are served regardless of immigration status in Canada. Capacity for 12 women in a smoke-free environment.
