About this service
The Youth Life Promotion Program (YLP) is for youth 13-24 years of age to work on their employment, education, life skills or volunteer hours. The program runs Tuesday to Friday 4 pm 6 pm; program includes: homework help, one-on-ones, goal-setting, employment readiness, life skills and guest speakers.
Guest speakers pertain to the youths interest in the fields of post-secondary study and careers, for example, speakers from the fields of corrections and policing, security, culinary arts, northern relations, medicine and local colleges and universities.
