About this service

Our child and youth programs are divided by age; however, the goals for each group are similarly focused on self-esteem, anti-bullying, community development, and healthy living. All children and youth activities incorporate a healthy meal component, often prepared with the childrens assistance, as well as an outdoor/physical activity component. Childrens activities are primarily child-led, adult-supported independent activities, which are complimented by adult-led activities.

Ongoing Children and Youth Services:

  • Shortterm and crisis counseling
  • Referral services to youth mental health agencies and other supports, as needed
  • Childrens playgroups
  • Homework Club
  • I Love to Cook & Play
  • Recreational Activities (soccer, tennis, skating, dance, swimming)
  • Summer Blast programming
  • Seasonal outings and activities
  • Specialized Groups (i.e. Cyber Safety workshops, Anti-Bullying workshops, Fun Friends, Wallet Wellness)
