About this service
New families require an interview for screening purposes. Groups are planned and organized according to the level of functioning, strengths, interests and needs of the peer group.
The groups focuses on social and conversational skills for girls and boys with High Functioning Autism (HFA), Aspergers or other related exceptionalities who experience difficulties with communication, social reciprocity, self-awareness, self-regulation and perspective taking.
SATURDAY GROUPS
- Group for 7 to 8 yrs. old - Saturday 1:15 p.m. to 2:45 p.m.
- Group for 9 to 10 yrs old - Saturday 9:15 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.
- Group for 10 to 11 yrs. old - Saturday 11:15 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.
EVENING GROUPS
- Group for 6 to 7 yrs. old - Monday 4:00 p.m. to 5:15 p.m.
- Group for 12 to 13 yrs. old - Tuesday 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
- Group for Teen Girls *NEW Wednesday - 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
