About this organization
PAL Ottawas mission is to provide seniors in the Capital region who work(ed) in the arts with personal support and access to affordable housing in a creative, caring community. PAL Ottawa is a unique resource for those who, due to age-related challenges, disability, and/or low income struggle to maintain a decent standard of living in their senior years.
We connect vulnerable members of the Ottawa arts community with essentials such as affordable housing, personal care services, and links to the local arts community, so they can live, not in fear and hunger, but in dignity within a caring community. This enables them to:
Retain their independence and sustain their well-being
Remain connected to the arts community and maintain creative energy
Reside in quality, affordable live-work housing
