About this organization
The Ottawa Chinese Community Service Centre is a non-profit, non-partisan, charitable organization committed to advancing the full social and economic integration and participation of newcomers, immigrants, refugees, and people of Chinese descent in the City of Ottawa.1. Provides settlement services to most Chinese immigrants. Services include informations and referral, individual and group sessions/workshops. 2. Provides language (English) training classes to immigrants and childminding service as well. 3. Provides individual and family counselling and assistance to low-income families. 4. Conducts job research workshops, employment counselling. 5. Provides occupation specific language training/work placement to internationally educated IT & accounting professionals.
