About this organization
Since 1966, the Learning Disabilities Association of Ottawa-Carleton (LDAO-C) has been offering programs and resources to help children, youth, adults and families deal effectively with the challenges of learning disabilities (LDs). We raise awareness, knowledge and understanding of LDs among, educators, employers, professionals and the community at large. We deliver summer camps, parent support groups, training workshops and provide access to a library of resources. We are the recognized leader in our community supporting families touched by LDs, giving them the skills and tools they need to achieve success in all that they do.
