Helping With Furniture appeals for and collects new and good quality used furniture, household furnishings and bikes from residents and furniture stores in the Ottawa area. Helping With Furniture redistributes the furniture, furnishings and bikes to individuals and families who have been internationally and domestically displaced due to situations of hardships, and who lack the means to buy these items. It is the aim of Helping With Furniture to assist in furnishing homes to a level of modest Canadian standards without cost to the Canadian taxpayer.
