About this organization
The purpose of the Canadian Cardiovascular Society Academy is to support education, research, scholarships and bursaries for medical students and prospective cardiovascular specialists. In addition, they intend to provide current cardiovascular trainees with programs and services that will span between the moment they begin specialized training until the completion of their fifth year of employment. The Academy has chosen to focus on providing support for medical students, prospective cardiovascular specialists, scientists in training and current cardiovascular trainees as a means of encouraging the continuation of a strong cardiovascular sector for the future.
