About this service
The Day Program promotes a sense of accomplishment, body awareness and positive self-esteem. The program structure is flexible and activities are tailored to the individuals functional ability and interests. Our Programs are broken down into specific groups/areas of focus to ensure optimum participation and interest retention throughout.
We plan a variety of social, recreational and educational programs to meet the individual needs and interests of each client. This includes the use of various trivia and word games, as well as visual matching and other sensory stimulating activities help to give our brains a mental workout. Discussions, reminiscing, sing-a-longs, parties and other games provide lots of opportunities for socialization. Our clients meet new people and are encouraged to foster new friendships.
