About this organization
McDermott House Canada is a registered charity dedicated to helping those who have served our country. Our FIRST project is to create an innovative and warm, home-like environment for Canadian Veterans, Military, First Responders and community patients in the Palliative care Unit at Sunnybrook Veterans Centre in Toronto.
The mission of McDermott House Canada is to promote the highest quality of life for Veterans, Military, First Responders and community patients facing the final stages of a terminal illness. Our first project is to rebuild the palliative care unit at K-wing at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre in Toronto.
