Why the lighthouse?
A lighthouse that sits at the edge of the ocean is there for the darkest nights or storms, it guides ships to safety. Except the lighthouse itself isn't the final destination, the safety of the harbour is.
The same is true for The Lighthouse. We guide the vulnerable out of life's storms, provide physical needs (food and shelter), gives spiritual hope (based on Christian beliefs) and points the way to wellness (connecting and anchoring our clients into the community with permanent, safe housing).
