About this service
At Helping Hands, we provide a wide range of in-home care services to older adults and adults with physical disabilities in the Orillia area, Barrie and Muskoka. Services include non-medical personal care, respite services enabling caregivers time away, medical reminders, meal preparation, laundry, shopping, home cleaning, and errands. For those services for which fees are charged, because of our effective community model, Helping Hands is able to provide these services at very affordable rates.
Relief for caregivers is an important aspect of client care and we provide these respite services to the caregivers of clients. It must be appreciated that many clients rely on the on-going support of family and loved ones. We are here to provide much needed relief to those caregivers, making these important services sustainable and to help avoid burnout.
