TR Leger Immigrant Services

TR Leger Immigrant Services is an organization that has been assisting newcomers to the Eastern Ontario region since August 2008. They are a part of the Upper Canada District School Board and operate under the TR Leger School. The organization is funded by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada and is dedicated to serving Permanent Residents, Live-in-Caregivers, and Convention Refugees with settlement and immigration needs. They offer various services such as computer/internet/phone/fax access, information on housing, employment, education, health, transportation, community and government services, assistance with Permanent Resident card renewal or citizenship applications, and the opportunity to speak with a qualified Settlement Worker for immigration or settlement questions. They also provide information on English as a Second Language and LINC programs, which are specifically for Permanent Residents, Live-in-Caregivers, and Convention Refugees, while others seeking English language instruction can take ESL classes.

TR Leger Immigrant Services is open Monday 8:30am - 2:30pm Tuesday 8:30am - 2:30pm Wednesday 8:30am - 2:30pm Thursday 8:30am - 2:30pm Friday 8:30am - 2:30pm.
