About this service
Summit Housing & Outreach Programs would like to acknowledge the Ontario Trillium Foundation for their generous funding of our Health and Wellness Program. Their generous support enriches the lives of our clients. We provide a safe space with programs that are led by a team of dedicated volunteers, many of who are peers themselves. We offer large and small events throughout the year.
Our Health and Wellness Program offers social recreation opportunities including a variety of leisure activities for consumers of mental health services. We provide a safe space with programs that are led by a team of dedicated volunteers, many of whom are peers themselves. Dont Mind Us provides participants with opportunities to participate in community life, to make friendships and for recovery through peer facilitated groups. Some examples of groups we offer include: art groups, writing groups, breakfast group, lunch and learn, knitting and crochet, walking groups and photography.
