About this service
The recommendations from the assessment will guide the development of a unique counselling plan for you. Counselling means you are working on addressing problems, worries, or concerns you have in your life. Unlike an assessment, where you just describe the problem(s), counselling is the work that is done to help you with the problem.
We Specialize in
TRAUMA SPECIFIC COUNSELLING:
Children and youth up to 18 years of age who have experienced sexual, physical, or emotional abuse, neglect, or witnessed intimate partner violence.
SEXUAL BEHAVIOUR SPECIFIC COUNSELLING:
Children under 12 who have engaged in concerning sexual behaviour.
SEXUAL OFFENCE-SPECIFIC COUNSELLING:
Youth 12 to 18 (up to 19 for youth involved with Youth Justice) who have engaged in sexually abusive behaviour.
REUNIFICATION COUNSELLING:
For families who have been separated as a result of one individual having sexually abused a child or youth in the family.
