OATC clinics have been strategically located in geographic areas that are devoid of addiction services or, are generally under-serviced of all medical treatment facilities. In many of the communities where OATC provide services, without a OATC clinic, there would be no other treatment provider offering this compliment of services, leaving patients with no other option than to travel long distances to obtain treatment or receive no care at all.
