About this service
The Connection in Action Halton Initiative is a proactive community pilot project focusing on adults aged 55 and older who are at risk of or currently experiencing social isolation (during COVID-19 or otherwise). The initiative includes partnerships with organizations who support older adults in Halton in various capacities. As the Canadian population continues to age and grow, it is increasingly important that people of all ages become aware of older adult social isolation and the negative impacts this has on the health and well-being of our communities.
