About this service
Our trained counsellors are here to provide ongoing support to clients of all ages who are struggling with any of the following issues: gambling-related issues, gaming, excessive internet use, shopping or hyper-sexuality. Support services at ADAPT begin with a comprehensive assessment to explore the effect the problem area has on all aspects of ones life. Next, an individualized treatment plan is developed by the counsellor and the client. The treatment plan may include individual, group, couples/family counselling, as well as referrals to day treatments (see below), residential treatments, or utilization of other community resources.
