About this organization
The Legion is more than just a social club where one can join and be part of the fun that goes on, enjoy a beverage among friends, sports, dinner & dances and other events.
One of just many events the Legion does to raise funds to aid veterans is the annual Poppy Drive. Not only does this help remind us of our veterans sacrifices, but allows us to serve the community.
Through grants and bursarys we assist ex-service personnel and their dependants supplying such articles as wheelchairs and other specialized equipment like artificial limbs, specialized equipment for hospitals and other items that might not be covered in their budget.
