About this organization
The Mississauga Halton Local Health Integration Network (LHIN) Regional Learning Centre was designed to strengthen the skills and abilities of direct care providers and informal caregivers through education, development and focused learning. This transfer of new knowledge and skills will enable direct care providers to achieve enhanced levels of expertise and standards of care.
All courses offered through the Mississauga Halton LHIN Regional Learning Centre are free to community members and are based on best practices. Sessions are facilitated by regulated health professionals.
Accommodating up to 25 learners, the Mississauga Halton LHIN Regional Learning Centre features two classrooms, a large screen projector and computer access, video-conferencing, Ontario Telemedicine Network (OTN) teleconferencing, and office space for staff.
