About this service
SportMED+ is the regions only rehabilitation clinic with both sport medicine physicians and physiotherapists providing assessment and treatment to help you return to your sport or activity. Whether you are an elite athlete, weekend warrior, or an active Baby Boomer our team has the expertise to help you return to your everyday, active life as soon as possible. Operated by Martel & Mitchell Physiotherapy out of the North Bay Regional Health Centre at 50 College Drive, SportMED+ is a multidisciplinary team including physicians, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, registered massage therapists, and rehabilitation assistants. Our sport medicine physicians are certified with the Canadian Academy of Sport and Exercise Medicine and are able to arrange for diagnostic imaging (MRI, CT, Ultrasound) if required.
