About this service
anuary of 2020 marks the one year anniversary of volunteers attending the weekly Food Cupboard at Emmanuel. Unfortunately, as with other agencies throughout the country, our Food Cupboard is seeing an increase in use.
Again in 2019 we were the fortunate recipient of a generous donation from the Mixed Dart League of the West Ferris Legion, in addition to individuals dropping off items for distribution.
We are always looking for non-perishable goods to give out. In particular demand from Food Cupboard users are powdered and canned milk, cereal, canned meat and fish and fruit.
Outreach volunteers have also given their time to go shopping for the Food Cupboard, putting items away and keeping the storage room in order.
A big thank you to one and all who so generously donate.
