About this service
The Toddler Program will focus on areas of the childrens interests. We provide each child with a routine that suits his/her needs. Stories, songs, active music and games will be incorporated in the program daily. The beginning of child-directed learning will be encouraged through various activities and stimulating play centres. This includes a dramatic centre, table and floor toys, sensory centre, creative centre and science centre. The child will be encouraged to choose where he/she would like to play and the educators to support curiosity and exploration of the environment. The teacher will extend child-directed learning through using his/her own language. The children will be introduced to basic shapes and primary/secondary colours. They will have the opportunity to explore number and letter concepts through daily engaging activities. Fine Moto skills (use of scissors, markers, and pencils) will be introduced also.
