About this service
Youth Achievers is a series of afterschool activities where children ages 6 to 12 can have a place to play, exercise and learn new skillsthings that help children thrive and grow in mind and body. Activities and programs delivered under Youth Achievers are:
- Robotics: This hands-on program is inclusive, engaging, and boosts participation of all children involved. .
- Easy Peasy Coding: is designed to challenge children to create their own mazes, games, and art through coding, and ultimately to inspire them to think about what cool gadgets and solutions they can build themselves.
- Homework Club: Regular weekly sessions that aim to improve childrens learning skills and obtain help and understanding of difficult work that transpires from joining a new educational system.
- Life Skills Workshops: designed around setting up goals, planning for the future, appreciating diversity, educational pathways, dealing with bullying, and building a social network
