About this service

The Economic Integration Project (EIP): Food Service Training aims to prepare vulnerable newcomers for employment in the food industry, such as restaurants and food manufacturers. Food is the largest manufacturing sector in Ontario with significant growth and expansion in progress. EIP is funded by the Ontario Ministry of Citizenship and Immigration. This program teaches newcomers the skills and vocabulary needed for foundational jobs in the food industry;and introduces them to employment opportunities, then supports them as they begin work.
