Children and youth currently receiving care from the programs listed above are still eligible for free dental services. They will be automatically transitioned into the new Healthy Smiles Ontario program.

Each HSO dental card is issued for a full benefit year (August 1July 31) or up to the date of the clients 18th birthday (the earlier of the two dates), as indicated by the expiry date on the front of the card. Enrolment is automatically re-assessed on an annual basis.
