About this service

Children of all ages can access individual counselling in a supportive and child friendly environment with or without parental/guardian consent depending on their age. Children who have sudden behavioural changes, such as problems eating or sleeping is usually an indication that they have experienced some form of trauma.

Children will benefit from counselling if:

  • They have experienced sexual, physical, and emotional abuse
  • They have experienced or witnessed family violence
  • They have experienced the death or loss of a loved one
  • They display problematic behaviours as a result of trauma.
