About this service
VIEWS for the Visually Impaired is the parents' voice for families with children who are blind, low vision, or Deafblind.
Incorporated in 1983, VIEWS helped lead the changes that resulted in the Blind Low Vision program throughout Ontario members qualify for a seat on every Special Education Advisory Committee (SEAC).
Over the past four years, VIEWS has undergone exciting changes. They've modernized how they engage with parents, erased barriers to participate by scrapping membership fees, increased educational session offerings, and provided more opportunities for parents to get involved in advocacy at the local, provincial, and national levels.
Are you interested in learning how you can help and encourage your child to flourish in and out of the classroom? Maybe you're passionate about being a voice of change to eliminate the challenges that frustrate your child?
