About this service
We provide a range of innovative language services that support newcomers, language learners, assessors, instructors and community partners across Ontario and Canada.
For many immigrants, learning one of Canadas official languages is essential to their success at work, in school and in their community.
For many, we provide that first important step: a language assessment and referral to English or French classes. If youre planning to move to Canada or wish to practice your language skills, our online self-assessment provides valuable links and resources.
Not able to attend classes in person? Not a problem. We offer distance education programs including individual weekly lessons with an instructor, assigned work online, and progress reports and certificates.
As a language education leader, we also train assessors and teachers, facilitate language partnership meetings, and contribute to policy and planning on local, provincial and national committees.
