About this organization
Whether you are exploring having a midwife, pregnant and looking for care, or already in care with us, we want to welcome you to our webpage. Hawthorne Midwives is a midwifery clinic that serves Milton and North West Mississauga, with our clinic based in Milton and privileges at Milton District Hospital.
Midwives provide expert primary care to pregnant women and their new babies. Our care is fully funded and paid for by the Ministry of Health (even if you do not have OHIP coverage). All through pregnancy, labour, birth and the first six weeks of your babys life, you will be cared for by a small group of midwives. This continuity of care means that you know the midwife that delivers your baby.
