About this service
Shelter Now is a not for profit charity that owns and operates a 20 Unit Transitional Housing Complex called Hartog House. Shelter Now provides temporary housing for up to one year. The 20 unit facility is divided into three transitional programs:
Shelter Now Transitional Support Program (occupies ten units)
Case managed support provided by Shelter Now. Residents can stay for up to one year while developing goals that lead to permanent housing. Referrals can be completed by other service providers or clients can self-refer by booking an appointment.
Wendat Community Programs (occupies six units)
Case managed support provided by Wendat and Shelter Now.
Transitional Rehabilitation Housing Program (occupies four units)
Case managed support provided by Canadian Mental Health Association, Waypoint Centre for Mental Health Care and Shelter Now.
