COVID-19 Update: To better understand how GBGH can best serve women in our community, the hospital is launching two surveys (English and French) related to the Birthing program. The aim of the survey is to better understand the experience of recent patients, as well as hear from future patients about their concerns related to COVID-19.
Welcome to the Georgian Bay General Hospital Obstetrics program. Georgian Bay General Hospitals obstetrical unit provides Level I obstetrical care at our Midland site with services provided by family physicians, midwives, general surgeons and nurses. Georgian Bay General partners with Orillia Soldiers Memorial Hospital, a Level II facility with paediatricians and obstetricians on staff, for higher risk deliveries and those needing a specialist.
