About this service
Following surgery or on admission to the hospital due to illness you will be admitted to either the medical/paediatric unit on 2 East, or the surgical/OBS unit on 2 North at the Midland Site. These are our acute care units, with a total of 69 beds.
Both units are located on the main floor at the Midland site just off the lobby.
Care will be provided by physicians, registered nurses, registered practical nurses, palliative care, diabetes resource and unit support workers. The health care team is supported by pharmacy, respiratory, dietary, information systems and housekeeping staff.
