About this service

Walk-in Counselling Clinics provide free single session counselling on a drop in basis and offer a quick access to support for individuals, couples and families. Quick Access Mental Health Walk-In counselling for immediate mental health issues is an innovative and effective solution for Ontarians experiencing mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, addictions, and relationship conflicts. It has proven to divert Emergency Department mental health visits by tackling mental health issues before they erupt into a crisis. Additionally, a reduction in primary care usage is realized when Quick Access Mental Health Walk-In counselling services are available and accessed. Most lower income families do not have access to comprehensive extended benefits that offer counselling, nor do they have the means to pay out of pocket for additional services. CFSSC provides FREE Walk- In Counselling services in several locations throughout Simcoe County and Muskoka.
