About this organization
The Vermilion Bay Lions Club was chartered in October, 1959 with 46 members and we started the 2019-2020 Lions year with 42 members. Over the years the Vermilion Bay Lions Club has been very active in our community with fund raising efforts and sponsoring many projects in Vermilion Bay and the surrounding area.
Meetings are held on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of every month from September to June at 7:00 p.m. in the Vermilion Bay Lions Hall
We are continually thinking of new and exciting projects for our community as well as unique ways to raise funds. Some of our projects are:
- Used eyeglass collection
- Education Bursaries
- Highway Cleanup
- Seniors Dinners
- Vermilion Bay Waterfront Pavilion
- Lions Quest
- Lions Pride Project
- Municipality of Machin Community Garden
- Proud sponsor of 906 Machin Royal Canadian Air Cadets
