About this service
YOU's Youth Shelter is now operational and serving our community's youth ages 16-24 who are experiencing homelessness.
The Youth Shelter was built with the unique needs of youth experiencing homelessness in mind. The facility features 30 individual bedrooms, it is pet-friendly, and it is located within a neighbourhood to allow for ease of access to essential services. The Youth Shelter responds to the immediate and urgent need for a safe place to sleep, eat, and shower. Shelter is not a home, but rather, a secure landing point and direct pathway into finding permanent housing.
