About this service

The Housing Stability Program provides moderate to intensive case-management whatever it takes to help those with moderate to high acuity to obtain housing. Two Housing Stability Workers manage a caseload of some 40 individuals annually, providing in-home supports to help people maintain stability in housing and engage independently with natural supports in community. This program is part of a three-year project to adapt Housing First to the emergency shelter context. We aim to transform emergency shelter to go beyond merely meeting basic needs and helping vulnerable people to end or avoid their experience of homelessness, through shelter diversion, obtaining housing and helping to maintain stability in community.

Adults and youth of all genders, aged 16 and over
