About this service
Throughout the year, LCC hosts several family activities such as BBQs, pancake breakfasts, Teddy Bear picnics, or other specialized events. One of the most popular is our Christmas Party when families gather for pizza, games, music and a visit with Santa. Transportation to the Food Bank is provided on a regular basis by willing volunteers. In addition, family members are accompanied by qualified staff to medical or other appointments as requested. Pastoral care is provided by trained, compassionate staff. A Free Store offers clothing and household items several times a year. Families can access a small food cupboard that provides a meal in a bag, snacks for the children, diapers and other personal items. Our staff are also available to help families navigate and/or advocate with the numerous systems they encounter in their daily lives.
