About this service
Do you have an addictive behaviour? Perhaps you have a friend or family member who has struggled with an addiction. Are you comfortable in a group setting? Would you be interested in being part of a science-based addiction recovery group with a proven track record? The London InterCommunity Health Centre offers a weekly SMART Recovery group, free to anyone in London! SMART (Self-Management And Recovery Training) Recovery is a self-help program for recovery from all types of addictive behavior, including alcohol abuse, substance abuse, problem gambling, emotional eating, etc. It is designed to support individuals who have either chosen to abstain or are considering abstaining or reducing any type of addictive behavior by teaching them how to change self-defeating thinking, emotions and actions, and to work towards long-term satisfaction and quality of life.
