About this service

Womens Community House has been providing shelter for abused women and their children since 1978. There are a total of 67 beds available at our two shelter locations and there is no charge for your stay. Services provided to women in the shelter are: counselling and personal safety planning. Specialized programs for children who have witnessed violence are available. Support for physical and mental health is available on site. Children and youth (up to age 16) can stay with you in family-style rooms. Our Wellington Shelter is located at 101 Wellington Road and our Clarke Shelter is located at 450 Clarke Road.
