About this service
Project UP (Unleash Potential) and the Coalition of Muslim Women of KW proudly present WeThrive, a joint initiative that plans to address discrimination and barriers faced by young Black-Muslim womxn in Kitchener-Waterloo. Funded by the Ontario Trillium Foundation, this three-year initiative will foster safe spaces for community connectedness, while providing a range of professional and personal development workshops, opportunities for creative self-expression, and regular group fitness activities. We are excited for the opportunity to further serve our community through this grant, and recognize that WeThrive the most when we work together.
