THEMUSEUMs Underground Studio MakerSpace opened in 2016 as a place for people of all ages to explore making, tinkering and hands-on learning. The Underground Studio MakerSpace camps are designed to challenge and develop the skill sets of our older campers giving them a chance to learn and experiment with a variety of topics. An umbrella that doubles as a weather station? What could be better than that?! This March Break we are focusing on our planet and The Underground Studio MakerSpace has added its own technological twist. Campers will use circuitry and computer programming to take an ordinary umbrella and add an LCD that reads the temperature!
