About this service
The Stanley Avenue apartments are located in a mostly single family home residential area. The two buildings are next to one another: One is a three story walk-up and the other has two stories. We offer fully accessible bachelor, one and two-bedroom apartments. Public transportation is available on Bridge Street, within walking distance of Stanley Ave.
Who can use it?
The applicant must: be safe should they leave the transitional living setting both on a daily or permanent basis. Demonstrate the desire and/or potential (with or without support) to participate in the program. Be safe when left alone or demonstrate this capacity for the future. Have a suitable plan for housing upon discharge. Require 4 hours or less of personal support per day, and 4 hours or less a week of community facilitator support. The applicant must show the potential to decrease the staffing support throughout the duration of the program.
