About this service
Our Mental Health Counsellors are all Registered Social Workers or Marriage and Psychotherapist. They work with children through to seniors and provide consultation and/or short-term therapy for a variety of issues such as: Depression Anxiety/stress management Grief and bereavement Family and couple relationships Trauma and abuse Behavioural/attention problems Parenting Issues related to loss or adjustment These services are funded by the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care. If a patient has access to counselling services through an Employee Assistance Plan or other work benefit plans, we ask that these resources be accessed first.
