About this service
Irish dance Irish dance is an upbeat traditional dance form originating from Ireland and influenced by French quadrilles and English country dancing. Student learn fun footwork that emphasizes the figures and formations of the dances. Irish dancing is for everyone who loves to dance! This program is geared to children aged 7-12 years old. Start date: Thursday, September 22, 2022. Duration: 8 weeks. Thursdays, 6:30-7:15pm Cost: $30 for eight sessions. Did you know? The costumes of some competitive Irish dancers are embellished with crystals to make them sparkle on stage. To register for a program or activity, call the centre at 519-741-2491. We're happy to help. Payment is accepted in person at the center, in the form of cash, cheque, or e-transfer.
