About this service
Waterloo Regional Council has approved a Veterans' Transit Pass program as a gesture of respect for their personal sacrifice and commitment to our community and to Canada through service in the Canadian Armed Forces.
Veterans age 65 and over are eligible to apply for a lifetime GRT pass for unlimited use of the transit system in Waterloo Region.
The pass is loaded on an EasyGO fare card. The card must be renewed annually on the anniversary of the card's issue date; this can be done by visiting GRT customer service.
