About this service
The centre works on a self referral basis. You can refer yourself by calling the centre at 519-749-4318. We will complete a phone screening with you when a bed is available. The centre may be the right choice if the person seeking help: Is intoxicated or experiencing withdrawal symptoms; Is 16 years of age or older; Is medically and psychiatrically stable; Can manage a group environment; Chooses to be there voluntarily; Is not experiencing, or at risk of, serious medical complications that require medical assessment and intervention (i.e. head injury, seizures, loss of consciousness, chest pain, overdose); Is not threatening harm to self or others; and Is not in benzodiazepine or methadone withdrawal.
