About this service
When a funeral is scheduled to take place at St. Francis Parish, the bereaved family has the option of gathering with their friends in the Church Hall following the Mass. Members of this ministry help to serve beverages and a simple lunch (the food is catered and arranged by the family), and clean up after the meal. This time of fellowship is very healing for the families who wish to celebrate the life of their loved one, and the Funeral Lunch Committee plays an important role. Everyone is welcome to join this ministry, men and women alike.
