YMCA Employment Services assists individuals who are unemployed or underemployed to find suitable employment. We have well-equipped resource centres and offer one to one job search support and workshops. Let us help you build skills and experience to gain and retain meaningful employment.Meet with an Employment Specialist to develop job search skills, apply for Second Career, explore training, placement and incentive opportunities, and receive ongoing support to ensure a successful job search. Our services are offered at no cost to individuals. Communication and Feedback We encourage you to tell us when you are happy with our services and where we need to improve.Feedback can be provided to us by speaking to staff or by placing a comment in the suggestion box. All concerns are taken seriously and will be addressed in a thorough and professional manner within one business day. YMCA Employment Services offers self-directed, independent job search services as well as one-to-one job search support including employment assessment, career exploration, intensive job search assistance, mentoring and coaching from an Employment Specialist, job matching and placement, possible financial incentives, job/training retention and workshops. As well, YMCA Employment Services strengthens local communities and economies by connecting community employers with skilled candidates. Services in French are available at our Cambridge location.
